What is JLPT?
JLPT, full form “Japanese Language Proficiency Test” is an exam conducted worldwide in 85 countries (249 cities) by the Japan Government with the help of local institutions.
Who takes JLPT?
There are 3 major reasons why people take JLPT :
1) To get a job, promotion, or salary increase, inside or outside of Japan.
2) To measure their level of proficiency in Japanese.
3) To gain admittance to a Japanese university.
What are the Levels of JLPT?
JLPT has 5 levels “N5” being the lowest and “N1” the highest. JLPT certificates do not expire or become invalid.
